Thanks to the Jiffy Steamer descaler, you can descale your Steamer in just a few simple steps!

How often should you descale it?

For daily use of less than 30 minutes: descale every 8–10 weeks.

For daily use of more than 30 minutes: descale every 4–6 weeks.

If used daily for more than 2 hours: descale at least every 4 weeks.

Step 1: Preparation

Fill the water tank of your steamer. For the J-1, J-2 and J-2000 series, this means filling it completely. The J-4000 series should be filled to the maximum level.

Step 2: The magic of Jiffy Steamer descaler

Then use the bottle cap as a measuring cup and add the correct amount of cleaner depending on the model:

J-1: 3 capfuls

J-2: 3 capfuls

J-2000: 2 capfuls

J-4000: 3 capfuls

Step 3: Get to work

Use your steam cleaner as usual.

Step 4: Almost empty

Continue using the steam until the water tank is almost empty. For J-4000 models, stop when the water level reaches the minimum mark.

Step 5: Cleaning

Remove any remaining water and descaler from the steam cleaner.

Step 6: Thorough rinsing

Remove the hose and wand from the appliance. Fill the steam nozzle (not the tank) with clean water, shake well and empty the steam nozzle. Repeat this process until clean water runs out.

Step 7: Ready for use

Reattach the wand and hose and use your steamer as usual.
